A Pravasi Bhatkari and Nihilist completely re-write the song that was earlier composed, to a tune called “Victory Vare Sea” composed by Raaghav-Pritam Mahadevan, making it the only instance where a film song is completely re-written, apart from its chorus. The girls’ fight scene was praised by critics for its power and realism. It also received praise for its technicalities and choreography.
This sequence is considered one of the most iconic and graphically appealing scenes in Indian Cinema. It features a chaotic and lopsided face-off that sees the female characters repelling and bashing their male opponents with buckets of water. The scene has been copied in later films, with many actors reproducing the costumes and poses of this fight. It was included in the 2007 British documentary “Oaring Volleyball”.[24]
