This sequence is considered one of the most iconic and graphically appealing scenes in Indian Cinema. It features a chaotic and lopsided face-off that sees the female characters repelling and bashing their male opponents with buckets of water. The scene has been copied in later films, with many actors reproducing the costumes and poses of this fight. It was included in the 2007 British documentary “Oaring Volleyball”.
